I'm a total numbers nerd (aka High School Math Teacher), wife, and Mom of a toddler and 2 dogs.  I love to read, I crave quiet (which is rare with a little in the house), yet I'm always up for some blaring concert music.  My only cooking skills are following directions on the box label and even though "Flowers" was my maiden name...I cannot keep them alive...thus all my plants come in bottles!
A little over 8 years ago, I had ZERO knowledge about essential oils but agreed to let my sister-in-law do a class for my friends and family. She brought over this cool looking contraption called a diffuser and within minutes my house smelled AMAZING! Even if I wasn't a numbers nerd... it was easy to see the savings with the value of all the products in the starter kit, so I signed up because the deal was too good to lose!

After a few months I was super stuffed up and none of my normal over-the-counter products were giving me any relief. At that time it never even occurred to me to use the oils for anything other than scenting the air until my Sis-in-law told me to try the oils for my stuffiness. Within minutes, my sinuses were completely clear and stayed that way for a full 24 hours! After a second application, it was GONE. That had never happened with any over-the-counter products. So slowly I started grabbing and experimenting with the oils to help with everyday ailments and was amazed every time how they worked so much better and faster than any of the stuff I used to use.
The best part came when I realized how much money I was saving from switching out my normal personal care and household products with the Young Living products. In one year, I spent HALF...yes, half what I normally would have spent at the big box stores. Quality products that lasted way longer so I didn't have to replace them nearly as fast.  I'm healthier than I've ever been (I even have lost over 16lbs with a Jumpstart program designed to reduce inflammation since Jan 2nd!).   
Now I’m on a mission to teach others how to empower themselves with the wonders of what essential oils can do and how simple swaps for better products can make a big impact not only on their bodies, but their wallet!
